qwerty
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Mar 22, 2011 -> 07:28 AM) Thanks alot Keith. Was way too young to go. Just heard he had an overdose on pills (I believe pain pills). Crazy thing was, he left Chicago to get out of trouble for a while. He left chicago for vegas to rid himself of his demons... sin city seems like one of the last places to go... no? Since i don't know the full details, he very well could have just been visiting. Otherwise, i question his sincerity to getting clean.

Since i don't know the full details, he very well could have just been visiting. Otherwise, i question his sincerity to getting clean. His father lived there. I was actually asking myself the same thing before I found out about his dad living in Vegas. And he wasn't a drug addict when I said he left Chicago to get out of trouble. But the dude (well I won't say without a doubt, but pretty much all of us believe this) was a steroid user. He pushed himself to the limit on everything. He was also an emotional wreck when it came to women. I have my own conclusions, but I can't turn back time to go talk some sense into him. (again) Still very sad to hear though. Felt like yesterday we were playing basketball and video games as 10-12 year old kids.
HuskyCaucasian
I had someone ask me to copy their old VHS wedding video over to a DVD. There is a lot of what I am calling "wobble" were you get the horizontal wavy lines int he video. there's a lot of degradation. I've tried adjusting the tracking, but that doesnt seem to work. Any other suggestions? I am trying to save this as much as possible,

Balta1701
Wow, local weather forecasters have gotten good enough to use, as far as I can tell, the Doppler-shift of returning radar waves in order to look for rotation within storm systems. SoxFan1
QUOTE (G&T @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 02:50 PM) Out of curiosity, what do you have to do for the capstone? According to the class catalog: "Selected communications theories are examined in the context of contemporary issues/questions. Seminar-style analysis and application of concepts based on readings selected to support discussions about one or more current critical issues in communication. Topics vary with instructor/semester. Offered every semester. Prerequisites: Senior standing; School of Communications major." But what really happens is me sitting there for 3 hours working on other things. Well the COM and CBR classes are required for me to graduate. The others are easy fillers in order to be a full-time student. I need all the time I can since I'll be working and calling games for 3 different sports, as well as trying to find a job/internship after graduation. Brian
Was at work today and there was a commercial for some animated movie and one of the characters did some variation of John McClane's "Yippy Ki Yi Yay!' and for some reason the theme song to this krept its way out of a file cabinet in my brain and now it is stuck in my head.
