I think what this country needs is more movies based on comic books.

There seems to be a lot of talk about making or remaking Stephen King movies lately.

I've heard talk about The Dark Tower Series, Pet Semetary, The Stand and Firestarter.

not talk anymore, Javier Bardem was just offered the role of Roland Deschain

And even though Thor is one of the lamer Marvel characters, he has always been a key figure in the Avengers. So if you want the Avengers, you want Thor. I think fans of the Avengers would be more pissed if he was just thrown into the movie with no seperate backstory movie.

The preview for Super 8 looks pretty good too.

So why did people cry during Toy Story 3? I know I'm like the only person in the world but I was quite disappointed in it.

i didnt cry(ha!), but the scene at the end where Andy gives his toys to the little girl is the spot everyone talks about.

Maybe if they showed Andy in college and he spilled his last beer, you would of been brought to tears.

The Other Guys was one of the worst moves I have ever seen. There was almost nothing funny about that movie.

Along with Dinner for Schmucks, The Other Guys was a film I did not finish watching because of how bad it was.

I finally watched The Social Network last night. I'm not sure why so many people said it was the best movie of the year. It was really good, but not the best.

I also just got done watching The Fighter. While Christian Bale was great in it (and I think he will still win the Supporting Actor Oscar), I don't think he's a shoo-in. It's definitely between him and Geoffrey Rush, and Rush still has a very legitimate chance to win. I'm a big fan of Geoffrey Rush, so I'll be rooting for him either way.

I disagree with both of you. I lover The Other Guys. So outrageous that it was hilarious.

Anyone heard of or seen FROZEN? I never heard of it but noticed it on Netflix streaming. Was nothing on and it's not a bad little thriller. Rotten tomatoes had it at 61% so it's not just me.

Yah, I checked it out. Kinda silly, but not a terrible little waste of time.

Not at all. I didn't know it was at Sundance last year.

I'll probably forget that I watched it in a month.

I watched one of the most heavy-handed documentaries in a long time. It's called GasLand and while it's an interesting and informative movie and topic...I don't care about how the filmmaker breaks down because some stream reminds him of home.

It's about natural gas drilling and how it's affecting the environment and people around the drill sites. Also, how it's poorly regulated, if at all. But MAN...gimme the facts, not your personal opinion. I wanted to shoot Josh Fox, just to put him out of his misery.

If you happen to have any Q's about the actual facts of the movie, feel free to pass them along.

How much money was he paid by eco-terrorist NWO liberals bent on destroying good, wholesome, clean, profitable energy that benefits everyone?

Probably not as much as you'd think.

There's an argument to be made that unconventional natural gas is the best climate change mitigation mechanism we have for the next decade or two.

Is that the one where some guy shows how there is gas coming out of his kitchen sink and he lights it on fire?

They had a guy on the Colbert Report once who talked about that topic and showed a clip from his documentary.
