caulfield12
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 06:55 AM) No he wasnt. Ironhide has been a suped up GMC Pickup in all three movies http://www.wallpaperez.info/movie/Transfor...onhide-302.html He identified himself as Que in the movie, but on the IMDB it says Que/Wheeljack. He was rather forgettable IMO. Not in a bad way, just kind of there. Do you mean the one who used to be a Decepticon and changed sides? I think they found him in a museum as an SR-71/Blackbird and then he "teleported" them all to Jordan? And he was involved in the final battle as well in Egypt and helps out Optimus with an "assist" of weaponry. No, the one in T3 that looked like Albert Einstein, and gave the soldiers those arm weapons and bombs. He was killed right before they almost killed Bumblebee QUOTE (The Baconator @ Jul 2, 2011 -> 11:28 AM) I've never left a movie theater mid-movie in my life, yet had I not driven my friend (and to a theater 30 minutes away, thanks middle of nowhere Missouri) I would have left 40 minutes in. And then at 1 hour. And then for the next 1.5 hours. I couldn't stand this movie- absolutely hated it. I enjoyed the second one far more than the third- everything just seemed so disjointed. And trust me, I know how just turn my brain off and enjoy a film for what it wants to be... I saw the Expendables in theaters and loved it. head scratcher there. 2 was by far a bigger mess plot wise than 3. It was pretty straightforward for me. SPrime intended on taking Earth to save Cybertron back in the 60s, but crashed. Megatron was in on it, but couldnt do anything until Optimus brought back SPrime. SPrime turned on the Autobots. Chaos. Explosions. Death. End.

Milkman delivers
One thing I can say for sure is that the 3D in Dark Of The Moon was completely unnecessary. The only part where I felt that it added anything (or even noticed it) was the sky diving scene.

I agree, however I think the 3D element was added to take away Bay's shaky camera during action scenes. In that respect I was glad for it

SPrime turned on the Autobots. Chaos. Explosions. Death. End. Not that the plot was disjointed, more that the flow of everything was off. None of the scenes seemed to fit together in the to make it flow, just a bunch of scenes that were all meant to advance the story without relating to each other. Maybe I should have been drunk to enjoy this one.
bigklita
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 1, 2011 -> 11:21 PM) Yes it was. Bay couldnt resist injecting his patented cheesiness, but good lord was the fighting awesome. My favorite scene was the highway chase when the 3 escalades came after Sentinel Prime Plus there are some major shout outs to Aurora on the highways signs in that scene. :headbang

The Town was good, and Mark Buehrle, I mean Jeremy Renner was very good as he has come to be, but Affleck and Hamm were not close to Deniro and Pacino....more like "Heat Lite." I dont think it's ever really needed for any movie, but much to my surprise I thought it made me feel more "in" the movie.

Speaking of plot holes, why was megatron REALLY on earth? T1) He crashed looking for the cube T2) He's working from The Fallen to harvest energon T3) He was meeting Sentinel Prime on earth to enslave the humans. How did Optimus Prime and the Autobots sneak into Chicago undetected , etc... It is pretty obvious that Bay doesnt obsesss over details hopefully the next director can take this moneymaker and do something with it to wow us without watering down the product. im hoping it will be like when schumacher left the batman franchise and nolan picked it up
MexSoxFan#1
My nephew wanted to see the new Transformers movie so we took him last night, about an hour into the movie, I was ready to pull my hair out...I hated that movie.
Milkman delivers
Or why do they all speak English? Why did some have Scottish accents? Why was the bird decepticon able to drool? These are all valid questions, but it's pointless to ask because in the end, it's still a movie about alien robots.
