cod MW3 is very fun, but as always an aggravating play online. The spawning reminds me of world at war's if anyone experienced it. sometimes one can spawn in the exact location as an enemy and knife leading to some serious rage. Spawning is just bad. both the additions are very fun in team defender and kill confirmed. Though team defender exemplifies what I am talking about with spawning. The enemies spawn very close to the flag carrier which leads to enemies spawning right behind the defending team a lot. Sniping is kind of a joke, a bullet almost always kills with one shot(no complaint) but the problem is that they are so damn easy to aim with the sway in the gun is very light and it is unnecessary to even hold ones breath when using a sniper. On the other hand I have no real issue with any of the maps. Taking all of this into account the online experience is definitely addicting and I will be at this game for some time(battlefield what?).

CoD online is for everyone. It's a game that makes you feel good, even if you suck at FPS games. I definitely like it.

Battlefield is for the more experienced and strategic players. It's a hell of a lot more realistic (both visually and gameplay-wise) and it requires team-play to be successful. I guess it's just whatever floats your boat.

Me too, I think its fun once in awhile, but the super nerd kids that spend their entire life on there make it ridiculously boring.

The day I got knifed from across the board in MW2 was the day I swore off of online shooters forever. I don't have the time to get good enough that I can enjoy it with any regularity.

this is the key. If one can put in some time to get good at COD it is so fun, but that fun is not shared with the people on the other team you are beating the f*** out of. Example, i play with 5 other guys that have a plus 2.00 K/D(i have a 2.45) and close to a 2.00 W/L. It is a lot more fun to play when we all get together because it is aggravating to play with people that just are not good. Now if I only played for the fun of playing, I would probably play a lot less than I do currently and the game would grow old fast.

Pretty much the main reason I haven't gotten MW3... last year I was playing MW2 and I just had a moment where I realized everyone I was playing with played the game for 10 hours a day while I was at work and having a life... it just wasn't fun. And spawn rapists. I told myself then, that I was done with multiplayer FPS games for a while.

My Amazon review of AC Revelations:

http://www.amazon.com/review/RWTTGFH4RUYS0...=&linkCode=

More or less what I think of the game. Though, through various improvements in combat you don't need to counter at all anymore. I just go in swinging with the hidden blade, mix in a few kicks if needed, and chain kills together. I only counter when in the middle of a string and I notice the attack in time.

The den defense is f***ing annoying. I'm doing whatever possible to avoid those, which really slows me down having to bribe multiple heralds to keep your notoriety low. I loved running around Rome and rebuilding all the shops because it was fast, easy and involved lots of free running to go to the different places. Now I'm forced to do that slowly because I want to keep my notoriety down to avoid the annoying den defense.

Most of the reviews I've read have either mostly or totally ignored multiplayer, which I believe is now the most fun part of the game. Multiplayer is improved and I'm enjoying it more, which I never thought I'd say.

The dudes with the long weapons, you don't have to sit there and wait for them anymore while you dodge, you can just aggressively go after them.

They were trying to do something new and keep it fresh with the den defense, but I think it was a terrible idea. It doesn't really help my not liking it that I haven't figured it out either. The f***ing battering ram thing comes in at the end and just tears through everything, and even if you have a roof full of riflemen they don't kill it fast enough.

One thing I forgot during my second den defense was the cannon salvo or whatever they call it. Hold L2 on your target area and it does decent damage on the last wave. I was getting my ass kicked and then a pop up mentioned it and I thought 'oh well now you tell me.' Saved me just in time.

Just purchased NBA 2K12, what do you guys think about the game?

I rented it and it is absolutely fantastic and somehow a vast improvement over 11. That being said, it just made me angry to see NBA players and know an actual season wasn't coming.

Cool, only bad is the cover of my game, I wanted the Jordan cover but either I wait a week more or get the Magic or Bird cover, I got the Magic Johnson one.

Been playing NBA 2K12 for about three weeks now, it's really amazing. Haven't played 2K since about 2009 or 2008, when I had ISO mastered. Now I have a very difficult time getting around oppenents and executing moves....when I do though it's pretty amazing...

If anyone has any advice on executing the ISO moves and getting to the bucket more with Rose feel free to chime in...

Hop step, man.

Damn, this makes me want to go pick up NBA 2k12. I'm so lethal at these games.

Somehow I knew you'd be the first to reply, can't believe you haven't picked it up yet.

Can't say I've executed the hop step yet, plenty of step backs though.

So far I think the key to being able to do that stuff is to play real basketball. If I just try one on one with Rose the whole time, it's very difficult. I find when passing frequently, having a nice mix of inside and outside buckets, it becomes easier to start getting around people and what not. I think the game plays very realistic

And I just read somewhere the reason I can't hop step is because they took it away. Or it's not as easy as hitting the Triangle button anymore........

Definitely try to alter your shot while driving. Also, never just "pass". Get to the point where you naturally call up the positions and hit the coordinating buttons.

So, mid-terms basically ground my all-time team making to a halt.

Got the Bulls, Jazz, Lakers, Celtis, Knicks done.

Next come the SuperSonics, Cavaliers, and Kings.

Bulls are just monsters defensively. Then they're almost as good at scoring.

Lakers are showtime on crack with Baylor, Shaq, Kobe, and West in addition to Showtime.

Jazz can go with a 3 guard set of Deron, Maravich, Stockton plus Malone and Eaton to completely decimate Defenses.

Celtics are just amazingly balanced. They can kill from the wings with great big men.

Knicks rely on offense, shocking. But they can and will kill you from anywhere on the court.

SuperSonics will be insane offensively, with a starting five of Payton-Allen-Durant-Kemp-Sikma. That'll be nasty on the break. Not even counting Ibaka, Russell, Fred Brown.

Cavaliers will be LeBron, more LeBron, and LeBron. Ilgauskas and Daughtery are a nice PF-C combo, but its all down hill from there.

Kings are basically the '02 Kings...plus Oscar Robertson, Tiny Archibald, Brad Miller, Kevin Martin, and Tyreke. The spacing will be insane.
