Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (whtsoxfan @ Jan 11, 2011 -> 06:12 PM) Cooper has said for the record that he does NOT want to have Sale change mid-season from Starter to Bullpen or vice versa. Sale may be vulnerable to injury because of the mechanics of his delivery. Why increase that chance by making him a starter, ever? http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/news/story?id=6002831 Ohman obviously will not help against Miguel Cabrera ,Magglio Ordonez and switch hitting VMart. Hopefully Crain and Santos and maybe Pena will be enough in terms of RH relievers. Totally agree with Coop here.

greg775
I was just like Rowand44, Soxace and jphat before he went crazy. Just optimistic about EVERYTHING. Then you got somebody like fathom, who I think is one of the best posters around, who's been a 'pessimist' since day one, but that's OK because it's expected from him The key is to be like greg, the best, most loved poster in humanity. Sorry for the waste of space reply here. I couldn't resist, however, to post something to break the seriousness.
Rowand44
Man, I used to be one of the more optimistic posters around when I was younger but that changed big time and I became more of an asshole and more negative as a poster for the last few years. I just have happened to love this offseason and you don't(not that you hate it), J4L. You just have very strong opinions as of late and that's going to rub a lot of people the wrong way and you're going to get fired back at. I'm certainly not trying to pick on you and you know I've respected you as a poster forever but I just happen to disagree with you on a lot of what you've been saying lately and just as you have the right to post your opinions, others have a right to argue some of the things that you've said. Thing is, everyone just has to make sure to not cross the lines on personal attacks which has been happening as of late.

I was never trying to attack anybody personally. A certain poster here pissed me off and I went off, I guess. But I had a nice conversation with NorthSideSox72, who's a really good guy, I explained myself and he explained his and the overall board's point of view and we squashed it. I'm going to try to be a little more constructive with my views and opinions. Doesn't mean I'm not going to criticize the franchise if in my mind I see it's justified. But I had no idea I was offending other posters. Most of my 'negativity' is towards the team. I'm not a brandofan clone. But it's over now. And I can't f***ing wait for the season to start. witesoxfan
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 11, 2011 -> 06:18 PM) Totally agree with Coop here. Of course, Cooper has been pretty adamant about having Sale in the bullpen, so you don't agree with him entirely. Sorry, should've been more specific. For 2011, if you're going to start him off in the 'pen, then keep him there. I don't believe in this 'pen, starter, 'pen, starter stuff. I think I've mellowed out a ton and become more positive.

I'm really tired, but in the article it doesn't say anywhere anything about 'mechanics of his delivery' albeit I do agree with Coop about (not) moving him after a month. SoxAce
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 10, 2011 -> 09:15 AM) Look, I been posting here since July of '03. I know my join date says February '04 but that's only because I forgot the password to my original name and had to create another one. I was just like Rowand44, Soxace and jphat before he went crazy. Just optimistic about EVERYTHING. I think you have me confused with WHarris1. I'm just optimistic about sox prospects who I like or have seen personally.
