LoL, because Ohio State never went crazy the past 3 years winning when Michigan was absolutely crap. Michigan also leads the rivalry 59-43-6.

They should be happy they stopped the streak. It took every second of that game.

Injuries, missed receivers and bad coaching. Things that most likely wont happen next year.

Rivalry is a Rivalry no matter what. Teams are up, teams are down, injuries happen.

This the game the next few years will by dynamite because both teams could be top 10 teams.

I dont know what you saw in that game that convinced you that either one of these teams could be top 10. Michigan didnt play PSU or Wisconsin, had 8 home games and just got gashed by a true freshman QB and a terrible offensive team. OSU is way too young on defense to know what they will be and are again changing coaches and coaching staffs. There is talent there on both sides, but I am not confident that they are all the way back just yet.

Remember the day after Labor Day and the hype Maryland was getting because of their uniforms and how the next great young QB threw for 350 yards against a depleted and horrific Miami team?

Well fast forward 12 weeks and that same Maryland team finishes 2-10 with their only win since Labor Day was versus Towson. Their "great" QB is benched during the season and they lose by 31 to Temple and give up 42 straight second half points in their finale vs NCST and lose 56-41.

Guess Randy Edsall and Scott Van Pelt didnt see this coming in early September.

Illinois has not scored in the first half 5 of last 6 games............Minnesota 20-0 at half pathectic...............Zook should not even be allowed to ride the plane home FIRE him after game.

They were talking on 670 about Jim Tressel and where he may end up later. They mentioned Illinois, and I think it's a fun hypothetical scenario, I don't see him taking the job but it would be pretty cool to see a top coach come in and prove himself once again, especially in the same conference as OSU.

If he can recruit anywhere near osu level it would be an incredible hire for Illinois make them relevant in the football world.

He's not getting hired anywhere, he lied to the NCAA during an investigation, he'll get a show-cause penalty attached to him.

I'll eat crow if this doesn't happen, but I bet every team I listed has a better B1G record than Illinois.

Let's see how I did. The 6 teams I thought would have a better B1G record than Illinois:

Michigan (6-2)

Ohio St. (3-5)

Nebraska (5-3)

Iowa (4-4)

Penn St. (6-2)

Wisconsin (6-2)

Illinois was 2-6.

It's pretty rare I get to feel smart when it comes to college football.

Notre Dame's QB Andrew Hendrix looked very good vs. Stanford tonight. Kind of excited about a QB who is mobile but can actually throw, and throw pretty well. Dude has a cannon arm and was very fast for a QB.

He looked like what Tebow wishes he was.

ND fans should be happy if that kid can be half the college QB Tebow was.

Hopefully, next year he will get that cannon arm aimed at his receivers. Don't know how much that will help though, with a total moron calling the plays.

Am I wrong to suggest that Kelly could possibly chase away all of his quarterbacks by next season? He is pretty brutal towards them in pretty much every facet, demeanor, confidence, etc.

I don't think Hendrix will leave, but Rees might and Crist certainly won't be applying for a 5th year.

The day Weis was fired I was hoping ND would hire anybody but Kelly.
