NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Mar 29, 2011 -> 07:39 PM) Really?! Yeah, I thought for sure he'd be in B-Ham this year.
JPN366
Winston-Salem's roster has been set. They are playing a friendly against the White Sox tonight. It could change before they play their first official game next week. Some shockers on there.
NorthSideSox72
Some of those bazillion relievers you have in Charlotte will end up in B-Ham. And wasn't Zaleski released?
JPN366
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 31, 2011 -> 10:27 AM) Some of those bazillion relievers you have in Charlotte will end up in B-Ham. And wasn't Zaleski released? Probably, I'm wondering now who will be the bullpen lefty for the Barons. Maybe Leesman? Not sure about Zaleski, I know he was resigned back in January. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Mar 31, 2011 -> 10:29 AM) Probably, I'm wondering now who will be the bullpen lefty for the Barons. Maybe Leesman? Not sure about Zaleski, I know he was resigned back in January. I think they keep Leesman a starter as long as possible. I actually thought they might have Hector Santiago make a big jump to AA, they seem to like him, but he ended up in W-S. So I have no idea. Now that would shock me, but you never know. I had him projected for W-S.
NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Mar 31, 2011 -> 03:55 PM) Now that would shock me, but you never know. I had him projected for W-S. But he's not in W-S, so either he's getting demoted back to Kanny, or he's in B-Ham.
JPN366
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 1, 2011 -> 11:00 AM) But he's not in W-S, so either he's getting demoted back to Kanny, or he's in B-Ham. There's still a week before the season starts, so somebody could be signed.

JPN366
I have a hunch that the Colonel signing means a corner infielder got hurt. Gilmore? Loman? McPherson? Gallagher? He's not going to W-S at age 29. Perhaps Daryle Ward retired? Hate to see Robbie Hudson go. Edited April 2, 2011 by JPN366

Haven't heard anything about starting so I'll assume he stays in the 'pen. People forget he only had 26.1 innings there last year and still hasn't pitched in AAA. Yeah its just strange, he went from almost an assumption to be in the Sox pen this year, to at AA as a reliever. Crazy.

I was right, the tentative Barons roster is out and Jon Gilmore is missing from the active 24. Justin Greene is also missing, but Nevin Griffith is on it.
