2nd_city_saint787
QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 06:09 PM) you googled none of them, but none of those answers are really encompassing of the questions. for example. I'm doing P90X, but my body fat is already low, so I SHOULDN'T follow the guide exactly. What if you had a client looking to put on muscle as opposed to losing weight? People DO worry about their macros. I have a girl who just couldn't do the fat shredder because she doesn't eat meat/fish. She was getting sick because almost the only thing she ate was protein powder. Not super healthy. But together we came up with a solution that worked for her. And sure the guide is set up for "optimal results" but the guide is also meant for already athletic people. after doing P90X once, I went back and adjusted all my food intake the next time I did it to fit myself better. Others have done the same. Bottom line - everyone's different. Blanket statements like the one you made just don't work. ALL THAT SAID - you can still be successful as an independent distributor for beachbody, as long as you acknowledge what it is you're actually doing, and that you don't also provide coaching but motivation. All you have to do to make money doing this is share your experiences with your friends and family and get them doing it with you. You are right on that front. I was working the whole "I started at 310 pounds so if I can do it so can you" angle, I even had a twitter account that I never used with with screen name obese2ohBeast (or Abeast i dont even remember) so I didnt even really claim to know what I'm doing, I was targeting biggens like me and those who never really worked out so questions about marcos and elaborate stuff like that would probably never show up ......as Ive stated before my biz never picked up (mainly because a week after i started the video card on my comp blew out on me so I shared a computer with 2 other people and dont have a cell phone to be active on social networks which is where your moneys gonna be made, and the fact that all my friends are pot heads) so ive never ran into any questions like you asked but if the time came where I did I'm sure I can find answers

Reddy
QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 07:10 PM) I don't know if this has been discussed here, but I was just told that Maren, the German Potato Soup girl from P90X, has done some hardcore porn. Her name is Maren Beautte and the videos are not hard to find. While researching, I also found that Tony Horton appeared in a softcore porn film called, Rebecca's Secret. Not sure if he was a "performer" or not. Sorry if this is old news. yeah i heard that about Maren... would uh... never actually want to see that nekkid though... as for Tony - totally wouldn't shock me. he was a struggling actor and comic before becoming a personal trainer. iamshack
So have been playing basketball with the guys from work the last couple Saturdays. One thing I can tell I have gotten better at is my footwork...a lot quicker with the feet. You really see substantial gains from both P90's in hoops. One downside is I think the increased strength in my shoulders has made a basketball feel lighter now...so I haven't been able to get the correct depth on my shots...I think I probably finally am actually shooting with the correct form now... dasox24
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 1, 2012 -> 06:23 PM) Work really gets in the way of my workout time. Yeah, you find that out quickly... but what really gets in the way is traveling for work. I know there are workouts you can do in the hotel, but to me, it just doesn't feel the same. Regardless, I joined LA Fitness a few days ago in hopes that wherever I travel, I'll hopefully be able to find a fairly close location. I've been picking hotels that specifically have nice gyms or Ive been doing day trips regionally so I can come home and do a late one at my gym. Traveling kills your fitness and especially your diet. Reddy
i've now combined your shredded shoulder workout with this chest-killer, to give myself a nice day of doubles when I pair that with Kenpo or Yoga 3 moves, repeat for 3 sets, no breaks 1. max pushups 2. lying down dumbell flyes 3. lying down dumbell press Repeat. Repeat. So i do 1 set of the Shredded Shoulders, the whole 3 sets of the Chest-Killer, then 1 more set of Shoulders. brutal. and quick. Jake
I'm not a fan of P90x for a few reasons, but I bet it's about as good as it gets for a workout you could do in your hotel room.

Personally, I feel like an idiot when I'm doing it. Anywho, I've been holding steady the last couple weeks. Since I've started working, I haven't been able to work out nearly as often as I'd like, but I still get at least 3 in a week. I weighed myself at 213 today, down 27 pounds from the 240 I started at. At 6'6, I think 205 pounds is a good goal-weight to maintain. I calculated by BMI today, and I'm at 24.6, which falls just inside the "normal weight" category. However, the range for normal weight is 18.5 -> 24.9. At 6'6, 160 pounds comes in at 18.5 in the BMI scale. That's ridiculously skinny. Either BMI is a bunch of crap, or numbers need to be altered based on height.
