Jordan4life_2007
Wow, some of those are horrible. Upton and Ramirez are ranked way too low. From the pitching side, Johnson and Marmol should be ranked way higher. Honestly, and this pains me to say this, if Marmol could just knock that BB/9 to 4.0 I might rank him at #1 for RP. No reliever on the planet has as good a stuff as Marmol, and that includes Rivera. 16.0 K/9. Get the f*** outta here. That's just not right. Lol. I just noticed no Rios on the CF list. ChiliIrishHammock24
There is no excuse for Alexei to not be on everyone top 5 list, and I'd even put him at #3 behind Tulo and Hanley.

Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 11, 2011 -> 01:24 AM) Yeah, both seem like defensive wiz's, but Drew has higher offensive upside. Drew is third amongst all qualified SSs in OPS the last 3 years. He's an extra base machine. He's recorded more triples than any player in baseball since '08. Yes, more than Carl Crawford. What's crazy is most view him as an underachiever. If he can just be a tad more consistent (a few more HRs would be nice as well), he's easily the top SS in the game not named Hanley or Troy. Harry Chappas
I follow baseball, I really do. I have never heard of Neil Walker. There seemed to be a bit of a bias toward young NL central players on that list.

Which of their OF's even remotely warranted inclusion based on their work last year? It's not just the Yankees, there's some stuff that really is annoying on there. It's not what I'd call Yankee-bias, but there's definitely some "Big media bias" on there. The SS list...Reyes and Rollins? Seriously? After their last couple years? I can make complaints elsewhere (Francona as the top manager?), but there's about 5-6 ones I'd just call outright wrong on that list. cws0591
this list is supposed to be the list of the best right now correct? it looks to me that thy went with some of the bigger names instead of actually looking at stats. Then again there are names on their that i have never heard of which i am ashamed of since i pride myself on knowing pretty much anyones major league roster. Neil? at the same time i wanted to see Rios on the list but other than that maybe Dunn but DH is not on the list. But then it would be a whitesox bias for others.
