Dick Allen
QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 6, 2011 -> 02:42 PM) Sorry I goofed on the positions. Buehrle with a nice play. Is it me, or is he carrying a little more gut weight this year? He's never looked like a marathon runner, but he's definitely put on a few pounds this past offseason. witesoxfan
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 6, 2011 -> 03:25 PM) Mike Moustakas is now.... Mike Mousaki -- Bill Melton That's actually the plural form of Moustakas, meaning that there are more than 1 of them. That does not bode well for the White Sox in the long-term. ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 6, 2011 -> 03:51 PM) That's actually the plural form of Moustakas, meaning that there are more than 1 of them. That does not bode well for the White Sox in the long-term. Wouldn't be it be Moustaki then? Because he said Mousaki, like Moo-Sock-ee, like the dairy version of the japanese drink. flavum
Team looks bad, but it's spring training, and it's early. Last 10 days is all that matters. Stay healthy, play good baseball then, and they'll be ready for opening day. Edited March 6, 2011 by flavum
ChiliIrishHammock24
Melton just went on for 3-4 minutes about this mysterious guy who just hit a HR and they can't figure out who he is. Melton thinks he is the bus driver, or an alien from Mars, but then seriously thought he was a friend of the hitting coach that they just let hit. The "mysterious" player is an 11-year veteran who has been a starting 3B since about 2004, and won the World Series with the Phillies in 2008. This mystery man is Pedro Feliz. How the hell can Bill Melton and Trey Bender seriously spend 5 minutes talking about this mysterious player that they can not find any info on, have never heard of, and think he seriously might just be some friend they are giving a chance to hit? flavum
This will be my last internet game...it's just too painful. They'll have 8 games on TV between Thursday and the end. That's more than enough spring training baseball.
Wanne
Hopefully they can start to take this spring training serious the last few weeks. The O has been pathetic. Not really concerned...but a slow start will surely bring out the critics again of ST regiment.
