ChiliIrishHammock24
Teahen with a throwing error. Haha, it's just comical at this point, and right after Rios makes an outstanding "over the shoulder" catch in CF.
flavum
They should never put Teahen at 3B anymore. Never.

bigruss
I love how dramatic players get after getting hit, you just look like a p****. Unless your hit in the head or in the groin show up the pitcher and go straight to first base.
ChiliIrishHammock24
It's nice that Mark Teahen was watching the play 5 feet off the base so Vizquel had no chance to pick off the runner around 3B.

ILMOU
and now Travis Hafner is fast. I love Melton.

DirtySox
I'd bet Morel is officially named starting 3B sometime soon. This facade of a competition in order to not slight Teahen has about run its course.

ChiliIrishHammock24
Well, Jordan Danks appears to be having a pretty decent spring. 2/3 today. AVG up to .
Kenny Hates Prospects
QUOTE (DirtySox @ Mar 7, 2011 -> 03:35 PM) I'd bet Morel is officially named starting 3B sometime soon. This facade of a competition in order to not slight Teahen has about run its course. It's not about giving Teahen a chance: nobody cares about Teahen at all. It's all about making your young 3B feel like he has to earn his spot, and that's exactly what the Sox should be doing. The real (unfortunate) issue is that Teahen, because of his contract, is on the team no matter what. But oh well. Maybe he'll get a pinch hit here or there. As long as Ozzie does whatever he can to keep him off the field when it matters, especially at 3B. BTW reading through this thread it sounds like Melton's ready for Opening Day already. ChiliIrishHammock24
Mark Teahen pops the ball up into a 2-run double. This wind is insane.
ScottyDo
Man, that wind must be nuts. The left fielder looked like he was slipping on a cartoon banana peel.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Holy s***. Vizquel just threw his bat at an outside pitch, and the ball hit the top of the wall in LF. I think even I could hit a HR right now....
