JPN366
Shame, my favorite player. Off the charts character.
danman31
Another position with a lot of similar players. Someone had to go to make room.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (danman31 @ Mar 29, 2011 -> 06:01 PM) Another position with a lot of similar players. Someone had to go to make room. Another one bites the dust. I was really high on him after his outstanding '08 season.
danman31
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 29, 2011 -> 06:25 PM) Another one bites the dust. I was really high on him after his outstanding '08 season. See I never understood why people thought he was good. If you think his 08 season was 'outstanding' then I think that's where the difference begins. He showed power and didn't strike out a lot, but he didn't walk much and was slightly on the older end of the prospect age scale.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (danman31 @ Mar 29, 2011 -> 06:57 PM) See I never understood why people thought he was good. If you think his 08 season was 'outstanding' then I think that's where the difference begins. He showed power and didn't strike out a lot, but he didn't walk much and was slightly on the older end of the prospect age scale. Maybe outstanding was the wrong word to use. But he looked to be headed in the right direction. A legitimate 5-tool talent. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Still disappointing. Lol Ha you've already been way ahead of everyone on a few things so you could do nothing the rest of the year and we'd still love you. Is Chase in extended again this year? BrenBlackwood
QUOTE (danman31 @ Apr 1, 2011 -> 06:49 PM) Ha you've already been way ahead of everyone on a few things so you could do nothing the rest of the year and we'd still love you. Is Chase in extended again this year? HAHA perfect!! That's awesome! He is. He usually averages right around 1.8 seconds on his throws from home to second and they were clocking him at 2.1, so he had x-rays and an MRI done and there is a tear in his flexor ..It has been hurting him for a while, but he played through it because he didn't want to have training room time on his record! LOL ..Johnny O made him go, though, so he had no choice. Rehab's going alright, but he's frustrated because he wants to be playing ball!! danman31
On the upside at least it's an injury holding him back. It wouldn't be a good sign if he was in extended two years in a row and was healthy.
