Balta1701
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 3, 2011 -> 01:39 PM) That looked like he swung. Dunn has such a long swing that even if he checks it up, the bat covers a ton of ground.
ptatc
those are the at bats that are going to kill me from Dunn. 2 outs and he got 3 very hittable pitches and he works the walk. he should be trying to drive in the run not work his OBP.
fathom
QUOTE (ptatc @ Apr 3, 2011 -> 06:43 PM) those are the at bats that are going to kill me from Dunn. 2 outs and he got 3 very hittable pitches and he works the walk. he should be trying to drive in the run not work his OBP. He swung at a 3-0 yesterday, so I think he didn't expect a hittable pitch on the 3-0 today. Considering he swung and missed the 3-1 and almost chased the 3-2, I don't think he was being passive. I don't agree with that at all, if you get on base its a good ab especially with a very capable hitter behind you. Sure he might of had some decent pitches to hit but getting on base is better than not getting on base.
caulfield12
C'mon Rios. Only one without a hit still, 0/10. Hopefully he'll get on the board later. Sox 1/4 with RISP.

maggsmaggs
Why do Hawk/Stone assumed it's Sox fans driving to Cleveland from Chicago? Is it that crazy to think there might be some Sox fans in a big city like Cleveland or the state of Ohio. Balta1701
Every time someone tells us how the bunt is the sure thing to move the runners over, we need to remind them of that triple play we just bunted into.
