So it' more logical to do nothing at all when you have a recurring problem than at least TRY something when you, in theory, have nothing to lose?

Yeah, good logic.

Seriously, do you think a hitting coach is this teams problem? Because if you, you're wrong.

You could answer the question instead of changing the subject as it seems all Ozzie/Walker/whoever defenders seem to always do. No one thinks Walker is relevant yet adamantly oppose trying a new hitting coach. Sounds like a lot of people are afraid to find out they might be wrong. Otherwise it makes NO sense.

Just answer this: if the hitting coach is do irrelevant, what do we have to lose in trying another one when our offense needs to change? Just answer the question flat out, no deterrents.

Coming into today, the Sox had scored 30 runs in 4 games. The Rangers have scored 35 runs in 5 games.

The Sox are still one of the top offenses in the league right now.

Seriously.

If "Something needs to change", then all we're going to do is go down.

Edit: oh, and you know how the Sox last year scored such a huge %age of their runs on HR? They were one of the top offenses in the league, with only 3 HR hit.

Ok, but 23 of those 30 came in the first 2 games. 7 runs over the next 3 games is no bueno.

In terms of what? And by what statistics? Who is worse fundamentally? Outs on the basepaths, overswinging, leaving guys on and not scoring on 0 outs and guys on third... lol.

Because IMO, while you have nothing to lose, you also have nothing to gain. So it's a waste of time, and an excuse for what are supposed to be professionals.

By what statistics? "RUNS" are a statistic.
