Royce White is special.

Knocked some of the cobwebs off today. Won 86-77, but ISU was up something like 26 in the second half and then proceeded to give not a f***. Team misses Diante Garrett though.

Booker was the first big off of the bench. Hit a three for us.

Ya I saw his stat line earlier, sick stuff.

Wisconsin looked good yesterday (from what I could see on the computer), Brust was pretty hot from beyond the arc (I think he was the leading scorer), so while it was against Kennesaw St., its nice to see them making shots.

I saw a tweet praising him and Lenzelle as two Illinois sophs that may break out.

LaQuinton Ross is making grades and should be joining the Buckeyes in Dec. by far our best recruit.

IU plays Chattanooga at 4. I think they're worse than Stony Brook, so I'm hpping for a better all around performance, though they played well on Friday. I do want to see better 3-point defense, and more assertiveness from Oladipo in taking open shots from the outside if it's there, though.

Good game for IU, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Chattanooga had some players, started 4 guys that transferred from a power conference and picked to win their conference. It's unreal just how much Cody Zeller affects the game, without even touching the ball. I don't think anyone expected the amount of impact he has had on the defensive end too. 6 steals? Incredible awareness. Oladipo has also improved significantly. He's our best all around player, and it's not even close.

There are mainland games now.

I guess if the Big East can have teams in Texas and Idaho, then the Maui Invitational can play games on the continent.

EDIT: There's also some weird tournament where Notre Dame and Missouri host teams for the first two rounds, and then apparently advance to play each other in the semifinals even if they don't both win these first two rounds.

Seriously? What's the new set-up then?

The main tourney will run as usual. Basically they did this to set it up like every other tourney where you play 2 games at home against sacrificial lambs, then 2 at a neutral site. Except with this they only play 1 at home to get the max of 4 games, then 3 in Hawaii.
