jasonxctf
I was looking into this, but seems somewhat complicated with a lot of "registering" for different things. Has anyone here ever used it? Thanks.
Balta1701
I've signed up for that but I don't base any purchases on it. It's picked up about $30 over a couple years. The more stuff you sign up for the more you can earn through them, but I don't push it that hard myself. There's not a huge downside to signing up and entering your credit card and store card numbers, assuming you're willing to give purchase information out. If you do that then you'll pick up a few cents every time you purchase the right products. If you're not willing to give out that information to effectively the government, then don't sign up. If you want better random ways of getting paid out for stuff I can refer you to a few

Balta1701
QUOTE (jasonxctf @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 07:09 PM) thanks. did you need to sign up for a 529 plan to enroll in upromise? Not to enroll. What you will actually need is a 529 account linked to a specific person in order to take money out of the uPromise account and make the funds available to you. The uPromise funds can't be transferred to you, they can only be transferred to a a 529 account. I don't have a kid yet, so I just have the account sitting there waiting there for a person to hook it to (don't tell wife I wrote this line).
