WilliamTell
Gardner hits a homer like once a month or something. Of course he hits 2 against the Sox in 1 series.

Unlike KW's other disasterous moves, at least he has a good contract and we'll be out from under it after this year.

fathom
QUOTE (Paint it Black @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 01:39 AM) Sizemore used to be my favorite player to watch, but he just can't stay healthy. He really hasn't been good since 2007. Hafer is alwaysssss injured. He's been a shell of his former self since 2005/2006. Hard to say Sizemore can't stay healthy after he had the major surgery. If we rip on their players for being hurt, then how about Quentin and Peavy for us?

Lillibridge might have saved some jobs in the long run. I think they'll get this homestand to fight for their jobs, but that's my opinion.

fathom
So yeah, having Jackson throw 120 pitches on April 7th really looks to be an awful move by Ozzie. He's given up 19 runs in 17.2 innings since, and his stuff isn't close to what he had before that.
Paint it Black
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 07:41 PM) Hard to say Sizemore can't stay healthy after he had the major surgery. If we rip on their players for being hurt, then how about Quentin and Peavy for us? I have never been a Quentin believer. Like I'll root for the guy but I have always been the first to say he shouldn't be signed long term because of his healthy history. He'll be injured again this year and I know it. Peavy doesn't really bother me, probably because he's made so few starts here. It's an out of sign, out of mind thing I guess. Plus I never got the Clayton Richard love. Ditto Poreda.
