whitesoxfan99
QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2011 -> 09:48 PM) Crede had more power than Beckham. I really can't believe how big of a flop Beckham's on the verge of becoming. The development of Gordon Beckham as a hitter has to be the biggest (although it is one of many) indictments of Walker's lack of ability as a hitting coach. fathom
Relax everyone...we're just putting ourselves in position to have the first pick in the dispersement draft after the Dodgers get contracted. Knowing KW, he'll take James Loney over Kershaw.

caulfield12
Well, at least we didn't get punk'd by the worst player in baseball the last 7 months. Here comes the 2nd worst in Bradley.
caulfield12
QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ May 6, 2011 -> 08:51 PM) The development of Gordon Beckham as a hitter has to be the biggest (although it is one of many) indictments of Walker's lack of ability as a hitting coach. If they can spend $3.8 million on Manny Ramirez and no money on signing Dominicans and Venezuelans, you'd think they could hire Hrniak or someone similar to work with Beckham specifically since the relationship with Walker doesn't seem to be leading to any positive results. caulfield12
Wow, it's a miracle. We have a lead. It took a massive brain cramp from the M's to help them along, though. Harrelson's probably happy with the get em on, get em over, get em in theory working out for once this season. Nice to see Carlos is thinking of going up the middle and to the right side accidentally by pulling so much he hit a cue ball with masse. caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2011 -> 09:03 PM) Too early to put Santos in? Nice job by Dunn and PK. Nope, time to showcase Pena for our first salary dump. He might actually go 2-3 innings without a run allowed as long as he pitches around Smoak. And the Indians are winning again over the Angels. Amazing this mystery team's gotten off to a better start than any of their loaded teams from 1994-2002. Edited May 7, 2011 by caulfield12
caulfield12
Humber=Loaiza 2003 Cy Young here we come. Now all he needs is to add the cutter. Masterson's given up 7 hits already but no runs so far to the Halos, top of the 5th. 1-0 Indians. Edited May 7, 2011 by caulfield12
