The real flaw that you're missing here tex is that yes, the system is rigged to get people stuck into the debt cycle, but Gage et al. have been pointing out that simply "Opting out" of credit cards doesn't get you out for free. You end up spending more money at a number of places. You're paying money to opt out, so you're screwed either way.
