Balta1701
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 11, 2011 -> 10:00 AM) Keep em both, DFA Pierre Lillibridge becomes the everday LF.
scenario
I'm guessing someone (probably Pena) comes up with an 'injury' and gets a DL visit.
scenario
But I wouldn't object to sending Sale to Charlotte... making him the regular closer there.

caulfield12
Viciedo becomes the starter in LF and Ramirez/Beckham/Teahen/Vizquel all lead off until one keeps the position, I'd imagine. Not unlike 2008/2009.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 11, 2011 -> 09:36 AM) Viciedo becomes the starter in LF and Ramirez/Beckham/Teahen/Vizquel all lead off until one keeps the position, I'd imagine. Not unlike 2008/2009. Do it. I've had enough of JP to last a lifetime. He's dead last in WAR among all every day left fielders. Throw in the caught stealings/pickoffs and there's nowhere to go but up.
DirtySox
By all reports Gray is going down. He was saying his goodbyes after the game last night.

Milkman delivers
It should be Peña without question, but it won't be. This guy is the epitome of both boneheaded moves by KW and failure to live up to talent.
BigSqwert
Gray DFA'd after 3 scoreless innings last night, dropping his ERA to 2.7. This ball club is clueless. Edited May 11, 2011 by BigSqwert
elrockinMT
QUOTE (since56 @ May 11, 2011 -> 02:29 PM) Can't get rid of both? Gray has been effective. I would not DFA Pena, but trade him if possibe. However, we now know Gray was sent down Edited May 11, 2011 by elrockinMT
Harry Chappas
If gray is out of thir organization and pena is still around, I give up. Pena is utterly worthless. In all actuality neither really has an impact on the club as this team does not come back from being down runs in a game so their job is really worthless see last night's game for example. I gave up on them when they went 1-5 on the last homestand and made no adjustments.

You play well, well...we might just drop you for a laugh. If you coach a team to mediocrity for years, you get signed to an extension and your option year is picked up so that you don't complain to the press about it.
