Balta1701
QUOTE (Marty34 @ May 14, 2011 -> 04:37 PM) 10 in loss column. Way too early in the season to be looking at that.
danman31
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 14, 2011 -> 03:07 PM) http://www.waitingfornextyear.com/2011/05/...ell-yeah-sorta/ I don't think any person in baseball would argue that Carmona, Alex White or Justin Masterson aren't talented. Jeanmar Gomez, fine, I'll give you. But until Tomlin and Talbot and Carlos Carrasco (who's injured) prove they are complete frauds, as well as LHP Drew Pomeranz in AAA, they look to be in a lot better shape than we are, and certainly going forward into the future. Alex White hasn't been the reason for their success. He has made 2 starts and has been medicore. Justin Masterson is a competent starter, but he's not going to keep up this pace. With Carmona, you never know what you're going to get. Carlos Carrasco has been fairly terrible so I don't know what you're talking about. Meanwhile, I don't see why 2 starts from Talbot make him anything and he's hurt as well. Josh Tomlin's ERA is 2 runs lower than his FIP. I see a fairly average rotation that's overachieving.
