witesoxfan
They scored more runs than the Athletics after 9 innings and thus, by definition of the rules, are declared the winner. Didn't think they had a chance at being over .500 on that trip, let alone winning every series. They are playing pretty damn good ball right now. Balta1701
More hits than Cahill has given up in any start this season. Lexi was ripping him. Nice start for M-56 as well, even if the bullpen made it look worse.
The Ginger Kid
with the exception of a couple of blips, great pitching on this trip
justBLAZE
We are hitting .300+ in the last 9 games. Around .200 in the previous 20+ games. And .300+ in the first 7 games.

justBLAZE
Kenny will have to release him soon. There is no excuse for this guy to take up a roster spot.

southsider2k5
3 series wins on the west coast. When was the last time that the Sox could say that? Awesomeness.

Salary it really isn't a ton, Dodgers paid a lot of that deal, basically any guy making the minimum can give what Pierre is giving at this point

So if we cut him, we are only on the hook for the remaining $4M or so.
Heads22
If Teahen does in fact go on the DL, we need to find some way to replace Pierre in the lineup with Viciedo.

I have a very simple solution for that. You put Viciedo into the lineup in LF. Leadoff Vizquel...not like he's going to be worse than Pierre anyways. Yea it sucks when a 6/9 road trip still keeps you so far from .500; but winning 2/3 one series at a time is a great thing to keep rollin'; don't stop believing~! greg775
Don't be sad, two out of three on the road ain't half bad.
iamshack
Seriously, we won three straight series in parks that usually give us hell. I am pretty excited by what we saw these last 10 days. We're 7 games under .500. We can get back there in a 3 weeks or a month. Then we have 3.5 months of baseball to make a race for this division. The worst is over and this thing is turning! Woot!
