sox-r-us
Pop up to 3rd 3 outs left folks to be one game back It is amazingto have Colon on this team right now. He saved Jerry's ass by not having the bullpen up at all today. Imagine having Jim Parque instead....geesh, he would be done in 5 innings Colon eats up innings......he ROCKS
sox-r-us
Colon is done with 100 pitches (his back might have stiffened up) Gordon is warming up for the 9th
Heads22
I'd rather have Koch close it out.
IlliniKrush
This is exactly the start that i wanted out of Colon in game 3 of this series. be the horse you are and don't make the bullpen work. What a statement game

IlliniKrush
We pay Koch to be our closer....and until we give him a shot again...I ain't gonna be happy. You are nuts. You pay him to be the closer, and when he sucks at it, you take it away, simple as that
sox-r-us
Why aren't we pinch running for Konerko with Graff Good point...but then we need to put Graff at 1st Val moves Kong to 3rd with grounder up the middle Good swing

sox-r-us
At some point we need to put Koch in a game and see if he can come back If he does not come back I do not like our chances in the post season We need him badly We have to get him back on track....he is the difference between a 1st round loss or no
sox-r-us
Not today though....this game is huge But sometime against the Rangers or Angels we need to put Kochin situations to redeem himself and get some confidence Crede walks

Prove he can get an inning in without giving up a run, or two. You don't throw him in there to test the water against KC, who you are chasing, in a save opp, that'd be ridiculous and Jerry would be run out of town if he blew it.
