Yeah, that was too harsh, but he's costing himself some serious money right now.

I doubt it. He still has plenty of time to put it together. 3 of his 6 losses he gave up 3 runs or less. In 2 no decisions he gave up 2 earned runs or less.

QUOTE (Capn12 @ May 23, 2011 -> 08:59 PM)
The pitches that Hamilton and Cruz have hit, were absolute meatballs, AWFUL pitches.

On top of spaghetti,

All covered with cheese,

I lost my poor meatball,

When somebody sneezed.

It rolled off the table,

And on to the floor,

And then my poor meatball,

Rolled out of the door.

It rolled in the garden,

And under a bush,

And then my poor meatball,

Was nothing but mush.

The mush was as tasty

As tasty could be,

And then the next summer,

It grew into a tree.

The tree was all covered,

All covered with moss,

And on it grew meatballs,

And tomato sauce.

So if you eat spaghetti,

All covered with cheese,

Hold on to your meatball,

Whenever you sneeze.

Offense needs to show up this road trip, or the season could be over. We face a lot of powerful offenses, and we're going to have to score more than a few runs to win most of the games.

The offense has been showing up. Ogando is a pretty nasty pitcher. We'll be ok.

Let's hope Ozzie uses a smart lineup the next two games (which means Lillibridge plays, Dunn sits). Tonight would be the perfect time to promote Viciedo as well.

Ogando is a great pitcher so far. Splits vs righties are unreal

People down here say he's filthy. I haven't watched much but tonight. He's got some bite vs. righties.

Not making excuses at all, and I get tired of the "tip your cap" excuse too.

But it's just one game...let's keep things in perspective now...we have some momentum going and losing a game to Texas with probably their best pitcher on the mound isn't cause to panic.

I hope Kenny is at least starting to develop a game plan for trades.

You can get a lot done during the season when contenders are desperate.

Poor Danks. He's on pace to lose 20.
