fathom
If Humber keeps pitching the way he is, I have no concerns about if he'll end up in the bullpen. It won't happen, they're not that dumb.

JohnCangelosi
QUOTE (fathom @ May 31, 2011 -> 06:46 PM) If Humber keeps pitching the way he is, I have no concerns about if he'll end up in the bullpen. It won't happen, they're not that dumb. Any management team capable of leaving that little leaguer Juan Pierre out there leading off every game (how embarrassing was that AB with the bases loaded- the guy doesn't belong in A ball) is capable of doing anything

Thad Bosley
The Sox just paid Rios and Dunn a LOT of money NOT to either drive in a runner in scoring position or at least move him over a base.
Capn12
QUOTE (Wanne @ May 31, 2011 -> 07:48 PM) who are these guys?!?.... Nah, I recognize these guys, Dunn with yet another AB, with RISP, and no go.
fathom
Hawk ripping on Rios for not trying to move the runner over. Everyone speculates Pierre would be the one to lose his job, but it seems it's almost more likely that Rios gets benched and Lillibridge becomes CF (or the dreaded Juan to CF and Viciedo to LF). The Ginger Kid
Rios blows. I swear he was tearing the cover off the ball in ST and I thought for sure he would have a great season for the Sox.

Getupstretch39
I don't know why, but there is just something about the way that Rios "runs" out a ground ball that just bothers me more than most.
