Jordan4life_2007
Viciedo is wasting away. But I'd rather him stay at AAA. He's not going to play in Chicago. Ozzie would NEVER bench Pierre. Never.
scenario
Flowers coming back nicely after a rough start to the season. Average up to .272 after tonight. OBP north of .375. OPS sitting at .822 Very good to see.
danman31
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 31, 2011 -> 09:31 PM) Viciedo is wasting away. But I'd rather him stay at AAA. He's not going to play in Chicago. Ozzie would NEVER bench Pierre. Never. Wasting away would imply that he's declining in talent. He's still producing.

Are you worried that, for once, the White Sox might not be rushing a prospect? They've already messed up Beckham, Sale and Morel.
JPN366
Viciedo is on pace for 22-23 homeruns and 100 RBI.
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 31, 2011 -> 11:31 PM) Viciedo is wasting away. But I'd rather him stay at AAA. He's not going to play in Chicago. Ozzie would NEVER bench Pierre. Never. I think that may actually be Kenny's thoughts behind ignoring Viciedo's dominance. I really think he believes that Ozzie would never play Viciedo, and he is probably better just biding his time in AAA until he can find a way to force Viciedo in to the starting lineup, either by trade, or injury or something. SoxAce
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 02:12 AM) Reed with 2 perfect innings, 3 K. Now has a 10:1 K:BB. Siiiiiick. I think he's going to quickly move up the system this year. He'll probably be in B-Ham in a month or two. and I love Flowers having himself a good stretch like this. southsider2k5
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 02:06 AM) I think that may actually be Kenny's thoughts behind ignoring Viciedo's dominance. I really think he believes that Ozzie would never play Viciedo, and he is probably better just biding his time in AAA until he can find a way to force Viciedo in to the starting lineup, either by trade, or injury or something. The bottom line is that Dayan needs to play everyday. If it isn't going to happen in Chicago, then he needs to be in Charlotte.
