Note to idiots Guillen and Cooper: stop allowing Jake Peavy to exceed 100 pitches in his starts. His command in the next start suffers.

That's not the problem, if you give teams extra outs they're gonna take advantage unless you're the sox

Moot point if a simple double play was executed...have a lovely afternoon...life is too short for this crap

Sox keeping this team together because Cleveland and not Minnesota is in first place and all the wild card contenders are in reach -so they think.

They're delusional...there will be no post season play on 35th street

Like we said though, Peavy's junk ball stuff might have worked first time though the order, but the Tigers were all over him the second time through. 91 mph tailing fastballs and rolling sliders only fool hitters so many times.

No argument with the extra outs point, but I'm making a larger point about what we've seen with Peavy all year.

And, in the future, Cooper might want to get off his dead ass before his pitcher issues 3 walks. No need to be blinded by Peavy's pedigree. Get out there.

I agree, but just because the guy threw 100 pitches his last start it doesn't mean anything

Actually his velocity hasn't come close to what it was in the Cleveland game since his high pitch count that game.
