Yep, there it is in today's Trib: A full-page ad announcing that from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, Chicago-area Jimmy John's locations will be offering 8-inch sandwiches for $1. (They're usually $5.) The fine print: Offer applies to sandwiches 1 through 6. Limit one sandwich per person. Good for in-store purchase only. How many Mexican places are open at 2 in the morning? I'd take Chipotle or Qdoba over JJ everyday, but they're not options most of the time.
