knightni
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 10:20 PM) Kind of like Linebrink in 2008. Seems like he must have given up 3-4-5 homers that year in tie ballgames late. That's not really a good comparison. Linebrink had velocity and control issues due to nagging injuries. Crain does not. greg775
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 12, 2011 -> 02:16 AM) Santos does. Not last night. Ugh.
TomPickle
Dotel seems like more of an apt comparison for Crain.

fathom
Just saw the replay of Lillibridge's catch. That's top 5 for me for the Sox in the last decade. Hell of a season for him. I liked that Ozzie stayed with Crain, as Thornton against Willingham would have been a real bad match-up. Let's go win tomorrow and enjoy Monday
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 11, 2011 -> 09:31 PM) Not last night. Ugh. No, but if you are talking about any of our bullpen guys who has all their "stuff" working, then Santos is definitely going to scare a lot of teams. Maybe Thornton too. The bullpen arguably has been way worse than it was with Bobby last year BTW. Edited June 12, 2011 by greg775

Let's go win tomorrow and enjoy Monday I would not say top five for the decade, but take that, the one in CF and the two he made in NY and you have a legitimate one man high light reel. That catch today was awesome though. #1 on BBTN top 5 of the night
greg775
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 12, 2011 -> 03:32 AM) Jenks was there last year about as much as Peavy has been there And Matt was really a good replacement. I love Sergio but a few more blown saves and he'll be in Bobby territory as well. Bobby Jenks was a Sox superstar for years. So what if he finally flamed out cause of his fatness.
