ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 13, 2011 -> 12:04 AM) Floyd - Pavano Buehrle - Blackburn Jackson - Duensing (sp?) Not intimidating at all. Really believe we can take 2 of 3 against that hot Minnesota team.
witesoxfan
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 13, 2011 -> 12:46 AM) Not intimidating at all. Really believe we can take 2 of 3 against that hot Minnesota team. The last time the White Sox took 2 of 3 from Minnesota was May 19-21, 2009. They won the first two games 6-2 and 7-4. They lost the final game 20-1. kapzk
I may be expecting too much but I looking for a sweep for the Sox... this is a pretty bad MINN lineup that we are going to face, no Mauer, no Span, no Thome, no Kubel and perhaps no Morneau, only problem is their pitching has been decent so far this season, but our bats are finally alive hopefully we can get this done. NorthSideSox72
Winning 2 of 3 in Minny would be huge for this team, beyond just beating an ALC team. The mental impact could be huge. With this little run of good baseball the Sox are on, if they can add a series victory over their nemesis (and on the road, and when they are getting hot) to the resume, I think that's a big boost for their confidence. We NEED at least one. Getting swept undoes all of the good work we've done climbing out of the hole the last 2 weeks.

Cali
When was the last time the Sox had a HUGE series against a last place team? haha
The Ginger Kid
I loved what Konerko said. This team has yet to hit on all cylinders and before they can worry about other teams in the division they need to focus on themselves and getting everyone clicking. southsider2k5
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 13, 2011 -> 01:31 PM) I loved what Konerko said. This team has yet to hit on all cylinders and before they can worry about other teams in the division they need to focus on themselves and getting everyone clicking. The starting pitching has been the only "good" aspect for this year so far. The defense has had some really bad stretches, as has the bullpen and offense.
