winninguglyin83
Peavy nine Ks, two hits, no walks in six scoreless innings. He might be named International League POW.
winninguglyin83
also appears that Mitchell left after two at-bats at Winston-Salem.

JPN366
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 09:53 PM) It will be hard with Drew Garcia blocking him. They'll swap places next week, after Kuhn plays in the SL all star game. Edited June 17, 2011 by JPN366
Leonard Washington
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 11:36 PM) They'll swap places next week, after Kuhn plays in the SL all star game. What's Kuhn's upside? How's his defense?
SoxAce
Brandon Short likes to just flat out rake month after month during a season. Did the same exact thing last year at W-S. Edited June 17, 2011 by SoxAce
NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (Pale Sox @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 01:38 AM) What's Kuhn's upside? How's his defense? Scouts like to talk about him being a bat with no position. Earlier in his career he was considered OK but not great at multiple positions (started in the system at short, but wasn't great there), so because of his bat, he naturally has become this utility guy. Some of the Sox scouts have apparently even joked that other players who can hit but have no position are "Tyler Kuhn". Seems to me a bit like a Tony Graff kinda player, but I have only seen him briefly, I'm going purely on stories and stats.
oldsox
If Tank were a part of any other organization, he would be in the majors now. I think there is a better chance of Kenny calling up Whisler than Tank.
JPN366
QUOTE (Pale Sox @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 01:38 AM) What's Kuhn's upside? How's his defense? Only a few errors while playing 4 different positions. He's solid enough.
Balta1701
QUOTE (oldsox @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 11:19 AM) If Tank were a part of any other organization, he would be in the majors now. I think there is a better chance of Kenny calling up Whisler than Tank. Not necessarily. Other orgs might well be trying to buy extra pre-arb years with him since he came up last year. SoxFan562004
QUOTE (oldsox @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 10:19 AM) If Tank were a part of any other organization, he would be in the majors now. I think there is a better chance of Kenny calling up Whisler than Tank. I hate to make such a bold statement, but if they DFA Pierre and call up Tank, even 5.5 back, I would say Sox are favorite in the division. Juan is like having a pitcher in an AL lineup
