Balta1701
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 02:04 PM) Think about that for a second. He just called Chicago fans worse than New York fans. I'd boo him for that.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 12:58 PM) FYI, right about THIS time many were ALLUDING to Konerko appearing physically out of shape and done. Its funny how terrible performances can make you think you see certain characteristics of players even through their baggy uni's from only your TV. There were two or three times throughout Paul's time here that similar s*** was said.

Konerko has slumped mentally as well. He's just learned to deal with it better as his career has progressed.
Jordan4life_2007
I can't recall anybody ever criticizing Paul for being overweight or out of shape. The years he's sucked were mostly do to a combination of physical ailments beyond his control and the fact that he was once a mental midget. He's just learned to deal with it better as his career has progressed. Well yeah, start of 2005 was probably a mental one...the 2 that were really bad though were 2003 (foot) and 2007 (hand/wrist/thumb).

They were the worst before '04 when they hadn't won s*** in eight and a half decades. Since then? Unbearable.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Dunn had been so bad that pulling Frank Thomas out of retirement might get better results and Frank looks like he weighs 350 now.

greg775
It has to get to you after a while. It’s hard not to think about it and just play,’’ said teammate A.J. Pierzynski, who has been a fan target himself at times — albeit, usually from the other side. “Everywhere you turn and everywhere you go, there’s talk about being bad.” Great quote by AJ. Dunn's whole existence right now is being told he is a pile of dung. I wouldn't boo him if I was at a game, but I would continue to laugh. It's sad. No Sox fans wanted to see him suck like this. It's a shame for him, but he's hitting something like .120 in the Cell. He's as bad as any pitcher would be with that many at bats.
soxsoxsoxsox
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 12:36 PM) Soriano defends Adam Dunn by calling Chicago fans "The worst". There's no way Chicago fans are worse than NY fans, or even Boston fans. Soriano stealing money on the northside. 136$ million 8 yr. LOLZ. That article is just embarrassing. maggsmaggs
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 04:06 PM) Any chance this bum retires out of shame? He apparently isn't even answering his phone right now, according to Gonzo. Maybe we can DL him for mental issues because (in all seriousness), I think he is lost mentally. He might seriously have some sort of depression thing going on with how bad he has been.
