fathom
Rios hot stretch lasted like five games and even then it's not like he was driving the ball. It's so obvious what two changes need to be made before we are ten out again
fathom
Just realized how few bitters we have with power in this lineup. NL style lineups suck
maggsmaggs
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 10:08 PM) Rios hot stretch lasted like five games and even then it's not like he was driving the ball. It's so obvious what two changes need to be made before we are ten out again The Viciedo-Pierre swap is much more obvious. With Pierre, he is gone after this year, so there is nothing post-2011 with him. But with Rios, he is signed thru 2014 at huge money, so it behooves you to try and get him on track. caulfield12
2 full games now (18 innings) without a run scored by this Sox offense.
BigSqwert
It's too bad we have such a murderers row of a lineup. There is really not a single guy you could bench to get a hot hitting Viciedo into the lineup.

BigEdWalsh
This Hudson guy is pretty good. Why can't we come up with a good young pitcher like him?

kapzk
Too bad we are unable to gain a game on the division leaders while Minnesota continues to climb.
caulfield12
He's good, but who in our offense scares anyone? Konerko, Quentin (slumping) and Ramirez, AJ's been hot...but it's a huge difference without Dunn and carrying Beckham, Rios, Pierre and Morel AND the pitcher. Hope you enjoy this Ozzie. I'm sure he'll make a comment about how he loves the low-scoring games afterwards.
fathom
To be honest I would rather our collapse occur now than in august if there is going to be one. This team just seems to struggle to make offensive adjustments
kapzk
Ozzie did say Dunn would play in the OF in the Colorado series, I wonder how the board would react if its Quentin he replaces.
