Apparently Hawks are getting Rostislav Olesz and Steven Reinprecht.

Rostislav Olesz: $3,125,000 for three more years

Steven Reinprecht: $2,050,000 for one more year

Campbell: $7,142,875 for five more years

**All from Capgeek.

Saved: $1,967,875 at least, could put Reinprecht in the minors as he seems over the hill.

Phillip Danault, 2nd of Chicago's first round picks tonight, 26th overall.

Victoriaville head coach Yanick Jean

"The thing about Danault is he's a tremendous worker. He's dedicated to the game, but now he's taking more and more leadership and it's contagious. He has the admiration of every single one of his teammates just on how hard he works. He'll bring work ethic, dedication and leadership. His passion for the game is unique because he's the most passionate kid I've ever coached. He plays with pride; he's not the type of kid who thinks he's better than the next guy, but he challenges himself to be as good if not better."

Hard part is over. Who knows if Olesz is even someone they want, but a 3.1 million dollar cap hit player shouldn't be hard to move if they want.

Hawks just became major players in the FA market. I also expect to see Sharp signed in the next week to ten days.

Brad Richards....your table is ready at 1901 W. Madison, sir.

Brad Richards + Tomas Kaberle would be epic.

Kane - Toews - Smith

Hossa - Richards - Sharp

Frolik - Bolland - Bickell

Pisani - Kruger - Olesz

Keith - Seabrook

Hjalmarsson - Kaberle

Leddy - Campoli

Crawford

Salak

I want Sopel back regardless. He is the ultimate 6th defender. I wouldn't mind Campoli at the right price, but we need a penalty killer big time on the D side. Richards would be great and allow Bolland to center the third line every night.

Actually, Sopel instead of Campoli makes perfect sense. Each pairing is balanced. Sopel/Leddy 3rd pairing would be nice.

Wowee, never thought they'd be able to dump Campbell's contract, but they've been able to do that and not get a bad contract in return for doing so.

Seen that Richards, Kaberle, Pitkanen etc. have been mentioned as possible FA targets. Do the Hawks go really hard after a #1 center like Richards, or try to sign a real good defender to replace Campbell as their 1st priority?
