It's pretty crazy the Hawks have scored empty net goals in 3 games to tie it only to lose two of them in OT.

Whatever happened to momentum?

If the Hawks win this series now, Phoenix should fold its team. There's no reason in hell the Hawks should win this series now. Totally snakebit.

Oduya - For being such a stud since the trade deadline, he's been garbage in the playoffs.

Leddy - WTF?

Crawford - No hiding behind the Torres BS this time, that's two awful, awful OT goals.

Sharp - Hello? The playoffs have started.

Nick Leddy and Johnny Oduya have been comically bad.

Crawford has been bad this year, but the Blackhawks have to get better on D next year. Maybe Olsen takes the next step or maybe Montador being healthy might help. I really don't know about Nick Leddy anymore.

Momentum means nothing when your goalie plays like a glorified shooter-tutor.

I guess it was only a matter of time before the trade Kane talk started.

Well, in this case you have to look at assets and how much those assets cost. Moving Hossa would prove difficult given the zaniness of his deal. Moving Toews would be stupid as he's a top 5 player in the NHL. You aren't getting a franchise 'tender for anyone else on the Hawks, in my opinion.

Kane is fun. Kane probably has another level in him, if he is dedicated enough to reach it, but at this point I've grown prepared to move on from the Kanerrrrrr experience.

Let the Kane for Ryan Miller rumors commence once again!

There's no need to focus on Miller, as there would be plenty of Kane suitors. It won't happen, but one can dream.

I just don't think it's a good idea to trade a 23 year old player who already has four 70+ point seasons under his belt. Hell, Zetterberg didn't have a 70 point season until he was 25.

Now if you want to trade Patrick Sharp, that is something to think about.

Ryan Miller is a nice player, but no way is Stan Bowman going to pay that much for a goalie. It's just not the way they do things.

Marian Hossa to stay behind

Updated: April 20, 2012, 3:21 PM ET

By Jesse Rogers | ESPNChicago.com

CHICAGO -- Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa won't travel with the team for Saturday's Game 5 of the Western Conference quarterfinal playoff series against the Phoenix Coyotes, coach Joel Quenneville announced on Friday.

Hossa was hit in the head by Coyotes forward Raffi Torres in the first period of Game 3 Tuesday, and Quenneville said there is nothing new to report on Hossa's condition as of Friday morning.

"He's the same," Quenneville said before the Blackhawks departed for Phoenix.

Hossa left the Tuesday's game on a stretcher and was taken to an area hospital before being released later that night.

Quenneville talked to Hossa the day after the hit, and teammates have been texting him, but there is no timetable for his return.

Torres wasn't penalized on the play as officials said they didn't see the high hit.

He was suspended indefinitely Wednesday, pending a 1 p.m. ET Friday hearing that took place in New York.

The Blackhawks trail in the series 3-1.

Obviously goalies in the NHL are incredibly more valuable than a CF in baseball, but I feel that Chicago's goalie situation recently has been like the Sox CF situations. They always have fringy guys there. Never anyone completely awful, but never anyone you can pencil in to the future. Have tried to do patchwork with veterans, and have tried to throw young guys out there, but have always found "in-between" type guys.
