I'll agree, though, if I knew the Sox were going to spend a little money, I'd much rather see it on the pitching side instead of the offense/position player side. But still... baggio202 Posted December 8, 2002 Share Posted December 8, 2002 if the trade was nevin for griffey....for us an equivelent trade would be konerko for griffey..too risky what we should do is go out and sign steve finley to a two year deal...he's is 38 but he still put up excellent numbers last year...25-89 - 297...let him patrol CF...he won a gold glove as recently as '00...trade carlos lee for hopefully a starting pitcher that can fit in somewhere with garland and wright and put borchard in LF with rowand filling the role abbott filled on the '00 team...or if rowand is the CF move finley to LF...jmo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
