SoxFan562004
good job by Bruney and great job by Peavy. Nice win today, he might need a DL trip, but at least it's not Danks arm or shoulder.

kjshoe04
QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 06:11 PM) Peavy owns the Nats. He went complete game shutout on them last year. I was at that one. Jake is the man!
Jack Parkman
I said this in the gamethread, but since Peavy went 4 today, and held the velocity through all four innings, might his velocity be returning to him? I saw 92-94 with a couple 95 mph pitches today. If he can have the stuff he had today in his next start and for most of the season(save the few starts where any pitcher just doesn't have it), it would be a huge boost to the Sox to finally have that ace. Harry Chappas
nice job peavy, bruney and santos why squeeze in the 8th but not in the 10th last night same guy same situation tougher pitcher today? good bounce back win
Swingandalongonetoleft
That was big of Bruney/Peavy to step up like that in a s***ty situation.

greg775
The Sox sure don't have problems bouncing back from troubling losses. Just like that, nice 3-0 win. Pitching great. Glad to see Castro very excited after his big hit.

hi8is
QUOTE (Elgin Slim @ Jun 25, 2011 -> 04:17 PM) I said this in the gamethread, but since Peavy went 4 today, and held the velocity through all four innings, might his velocity be returning to him? I saw 92-94 with a couple 95 mph pitches today. Since returning from his surgery - hasn't he been regularly between 90 and 93? I don't remember seeing or hearing anything about his velocity being vacant.

whitesoxbrian
I was in attendance, and even though I'm hard on the guy, what a job by Peavy. Wow. BTW, it's not that fans boo Dunn anymore, it's that after the boo'ing, the fans talk to each other and just blast him. He needs more off days, especially vs LHP's.
