It makes sense..he doesn't have enough power to hit it over left fielder's head, and they play him so shallow. There's a ton of room for him down the right field line (unless Sam Fuld is out there).

I agree. What you said makes sense. It's his only hope. Try to elevate the ball just a little bit and to do that he's gotta pull it!

No, it's not a good thing. When you play 155-160 games a year, you're going to have some good games or a few streaks. JP is still a below average player that is on a nice streak.

Seems like he's struggled getting the ball out of the infield in these situations lately. One of his 280 foot line drives to right would be perfect.
