Lookin' forward to seeing Hosmer/Moustakas.

I'll bet you are...and take in how exciting it must be to be 34-50, in last place, and 10-20 since June 1st, when they began bringing the boy wonders up...;)

Royals can hit.

We can't.

Sox can pitch.

Royals can't, except setting up and closing.

Sox have had problems hitting hacks even worse than Francis.

Royals in the past have thrown at our hitters in an attempt to amp up the competitive level against a team in our division.

We play like zombies often against teams in our division.

Should be interesting to see what combination that brings.

Holy crap K.C. can hit. Up and down that lineup there are actual hitters numbers that Sox fans can only dream of.

They score enough runs (by 2011 standards, anyway). But they can't get anybody out. That was to be expected. Their stud position players are way ahead of their pitching 'spects aside from Crow at this point.

The problem is we can't hit anybody, so the odds are in their favor.

Dunn batting third is not good. He's an automatic out unless Francis beans him or walks him.

Are you implying that it's illogical that a guy who's sporting a .206 OPS with 25 Ks in 52 at bats against lefties probably shouldn't be hitting third against *clears throat* a lefty?

The question is, can we overcome Dunn's 0-4 with 3 or 4 Ks tonight?

I'm serious. Let's assume he is 0-4 with 3-4 Ks, what percentage does that affect our capacity to score 5 runs. I predict we'll need 5-7 per game to beat KC.

Ozzie's the f***ing manayer, he make out the f***ing line up.,if you don't like how he make out the line up go root for another f***ing team, motherf***er.

I'm quoting how I believe Ozzie would respond to your question. It makes little sense, but if Dunn has a big game, Ozzie will be considered a genius.

'Cause Ozzie makes out the lineup.

What's so hard about penciling in Dunn eighth?

I'd even prefer flipflopping he and Castro.

Castro might get into one off a s***ty lefthander. Dunn will K.

Hopefully Adam will take one or two for the team and stick the shoulder into a curve ball.
