caulfield12
Well, on the plus side, AJ and Pierre are hot. Beckham ripped the ball right at Moustakas in the first at-bat. Paulino's 0-6 and the White Sox are 7-1 in Peavy starts. So you have to like that trend. And you might as well forget about Lillibridge being an everyday player. fathom
Nice job by Peavy there. Time for our 3 best hitters to make something happen.
The Ginger Kid
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 5, 2011 -> 06:35 PM) Yet one fluke home run and he stays in the spot in front of our only real threat. Of course. We need him. We're not winning s*** w/o production from the DH. How we're this close with such an anemic offense is a miracle. We're lucky the Twins suffered so many injuries otherwise I think we'd be 10-15 back. But we're not, so we need Dunn to be the man. We need base hits in those situations so desperately. caulfield12
Why are Lillibridge and Dunn coming up in every key situation this game? UGH. Brent really needs a baseknock here.

fathom
Just embarrassing for Lillibridge. There really needs to be some sort of roster change made to get another outfielder up with the big league team.
caulfield12
We're almost to the point where Brent might be better off playing in the minors everyday and getting his hitting stroke back, but we can't afford to give up his defense and pinch-running.
