We're almost to the point where Brent might be better off playing in the minors everyday and getting his hitting stroke back, but we can't afford to give up his defense and pinch-running.

Or you know, we can just play him against lefties. He will probably be on the bench against Chen tomorrow.

You people are all smart baseball people.

Can you comment on Lilly's approach at the plate? It is ridiculous IMO. It's really really dumb and bad.

He's gone from wanting to be the man to afraid of being the goat

Brent just needs a little time with a good hitting coach.....maybe we can do him a favor and arrange a trade to a team that has one

He was playing over his head the first two months.

He's not the kind of a player who should have a huge, longish swing path. He needs to make contact and hit the ball on the ground.

Hitting all those early homers might have been the worst possible thing to happen to him.

sure glad Ozzie sat Lilli for 5 straight days when he was on a hot streak. That'll teach him.

That's the problem right there, why sit a guy who Is doing well to play slugs? Then expect him to produce after sitting 5-6 days

Peavy just doesn't have it tonight.

Still, there's been only one hard-hit ball against him, the one by Escobar in the first inning to the gap.

You just had the feeling that the White Sox were playing with fire not knocking the Royals out the last 3 innings with all the runners they left on base.

And it didn't help that Lilly misplayed it.
