Let's hope that the sample size bias is proven wrong then.

Btw, today marks the 4th anniversary of Gavin Floyd's first start with the White Sox. Said anniversary also coincides with the day that shall not be forgotten.

I swear to God there'll be at least 2 key moments in the game that Dunn will come up against "CY LEFTY" Chen and K before Konerko can even get a chance to drive them in.

For heaven's sake, at least move him down to 6th or 7th against LHP.

and they better f***ing win, because it's my BIRTHDAY goddammit. That, and they're facing Bruce Chen and it has been statistically proven that Bruce Chen is the worst pitcher of all time.

Kyle Davies begs to differ...

Wouldn't a no-brainer blowout be a refreshing change today?

How about a quality start and score seven runs in the first three innings...

I could really go for a blow out. Like 9-3 or something like that.

Bruce Chen has been on 10 different teams.

He was possibly the top pitching prospect in minors when he came up through the Atlanta system.

No s***. How the f*** can you keep trotting him in the 3 hole, especially against a lefty?

Wow. That's really going to strike fear into opposing pitchers seeing those guys to start the game.

Ozzie wants to give Chen a false sense of security by letting him get a quick 1,2,3 inning right off the bat.

How will the Amazing Chen mystify our hitters this time? I say he's gonna go 7.0, giving up 1 run on 3 hits.

How many Hawkaroo "couldn't do anything with it" will we hear today?!

Seriously this is an important game in the scheme of this season.

There may be some serious cap tipping later this afternoon.

Oh. The man is a mad scientist. Hell, he's already got this $125 million payroll up to 1-game below .500, so we're ready to strike in the awful AL Central!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Chen has been on a roll of late. Ed better have his chit together today.

Uh-oh, Jackson 3-4, 5.74 career ERA against KC.

Chen has actually pitched pretty well this season. Not close to a slam dunk for the Sox.

Joe West threw out Leyland last night. Seems like the Tigers feel about that crew the same way Sox fans do.
