Greg Hibbard
I just don't understand why Kenny or Ozzie or both haven't had a closed-door meeting. Or why Ozzie hasn't blown up at the media. Or why some players haven't started infighting. There's just nothing but this dull malaise.
greg775
Congratuations Chicago White Sox. You knew coming into this series you had to start beating Central Division teams ... better yet at home. You almost got swept by Kansas City. You were owned by 3 KC starting pitchers, all of whom suck. You were outplayed by a team that is AWFUL on the road. You were outplayed by a team that has been so bad the past month it is laughable, again at home. Congratulations boys. Nice series. Get ready to get your asses swept by Minnesota and maybe just maybe we'll see some firings and changes to staff and player personnel both. LVSoxFan
Not to be premature but when you're getting trounced by KC and, I'm guessing, the Twins will give us the usual ass-kicking, there's your season.

whitesoxfan101
Lack of talent provided by the GM and lack of effort provided for the manager leads to a very unlikable team. Especially as they flounder away in a winnable division. Again though, what reason is there for effort or urgency? Nobody in the organization is held accountable. It's easy to not give a s*** if there are no consequences.

If you like pop ups, you love this team. And strikeouts from power hitters not named Konerko. 2.) You are not ready to bury this lifeless crap team that can't even beat KC at home when the team knows it HAS to start beating Central Division teams? All because the division is so bad they are presumably still "in the race?"
Jordan4life_2007
We've got to get some offense in here. Even the standard "wait until the weather" heats up rebuttal to our yearly slow starts offensively is not coming to fruition. Viciedo is a must. What's the 3B market look like? I can't take Morel. I know he's a rookie. And I'd be a lot more patient with him if we had the payroll/expectations of the Pirates/Royals. But shockingly, this division can still be had. Send Morel back to the minors. Greg Hibbard
I can understand people's frustrations with almost every player, but I think everyone has just hit a cold streak at once, similar to other points over the last two seasons. I'm not sure Viciedo would help, but Dunn HAS to be dropped in the order. It makes absolutely no sense to bat him third. He needs to drop to at least 6th, probably 7th or 8th. Him batting 3rd has cost us at least two games recently.

Do we have a 2Bman in the minors who could replace Becks a couple weeks as well? He needs help. To not call up Viciedo for the Minnie series ... it's insane. We are just conceding games it seems til we finally can call him up. I'd have a lineup of DeAza (cf), Alexei (ss), Konerko (1b), Quentin (rf), Viciedo (DH), AJ/Castro ©, best minor leaguer we have (3b), best minor leaguer we have (2b) and Pierre (lf). Let Lilly play some; let Omar play some. Give Morel and Becks some time in AAA, two weeks or so then bring them back up if the minor leaguers are failing.
