Because he's a favorite for the GG, he doesn't make the top 70 list. Morel is borderline.

Seriously, Morel, offensively, is real, real bad. The position overall sucks this year and his OPS is still like .100 points below league average.

I swear, I'm about to start rooting against the Sox just so my sig comes true. Ozzie can take his moronic lineups, poor pen management and stupid quotes somewhere else.

I dislike Ozzie as much as anyone, but this just isn't the Sox year so far. No manager in baseball could have this group of players playing hard. Something that's interesting to think of is that maybe the Sox need to go away from bringing in guys with a reputation of not being "winning" players. Dunn and Rios definitely had that reputation coming into the year.

:notworthy

He might end up being about average during his career, but this year, his offense is amazingly awful

I was talking about Beckham with the GG. Morel is borderline, but even if he's not in the top 70, being in the top 80 worst players isn't exactly good.

Javy too.

Interestingly, Swisher and Cabrera were the players with the consistent "winning traditions" in their backgrounds (and have continued to be).

We did bring in Crain, and he's been as good (or better) than expected.

Oops, I guess things can get worse. Teahen, what the hell was up with that freaking lollipop throw???? Konerko falling apart. Pathetic. Beckham wasn't paying attention on that play, either.

I agree.

But it needs to start with Ozzie. He needs to be held accountable for this team's crap.

Humber now over a 3.00 ERA.

And out of the ballgame. And the deluge continues.

With 28 losses out of 35, you'd almost be tempted to bet against the White Sox tmrw. 8 wins in a row for the Twins. But I could never, ever do that. It would be the game the White Sox win and you'd end up kicking yourself for weeks.

Are you Jay Mariotti in disguise?

Huh? In no way was I saying the bad F word. It was me trying to say Fire Ozzie Guillen without breaking the "no fire" streak in the thread. Sorry if any confusion.

I was joking.

Well, this still isn't worse than the game Freddy Garcia started early in the 2009 season that we gave up 20+.

Let's go, Royals.

In the process of cheering for teams playing CLE and DET, we just might get passed by the Twins. It's kind of funny since they were 20 games below .500 this season.
