fathom
QUOTE (onedude @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 02:05 AM) If you bring up Viciedo for Dunn, might as well bring up De Aza for Rios....HOLY s*** We are going to have to pay a team a ton of money to take Rios. At this point, you have to wonder if he'll still be in baseball by the time his contract ends.

Cali
Honestly, if Ozzie can't figure out why the Sox can't beat the Twins (or why as a team manager he can't get the heads right on these guys/can't motivate them) and just throws his hands in the air and shrugs, recommending they just "play through it" then maybe we need a new manager. It's that freakin' simple. Another other coach in the MLB or anyone in a management position at ANY JOB would be replaced already....

The way this season is going, it seems hard to believe that either Manager and General Manager for the Sox/Cubs should have a job at the end of the year. caulfield12
Cubs tied again. It would suck to lose that game after coming all the way back from 8-0 down. The Cardinals lost in similar fashion to the Reds the other night. Guillen caught napping with Repko appearing as a PH. caulfield12
Well, thank God for Santiago and Teahen or this game would be absolutely unbearable. The irony again with the Swisher trade is that Fautino De Los Santos is exactly the final piece we could have used in that bullpen. We're still one RH short, although Bruney's been okay. Tony Pena, yuck. Edited July 8, 2011 by caulfield12
caulfield12
Nishioka just doesn't have the arm for SS. They need to switch Casilla and Nishioka again....although it probably won't happen until the offseason.

Cali
Seriously a 4 game sweep by the Twins might be the only way changes are made.... I welcome it at this point. I can't f***ing STAND this team as it's constructed...

jeffro2525
Honestly...maybe the umpiring has been a little sub-standard, but give it a rest Hawk....we wouldn't have any more than two runs anyhow.
caulfield12
The White Sox should just offer free rainchecks to every fan for future games until they beat the Twins just once. It would be the least JR could do to generate some goodwill. KW should personally be forced to hand them all out to every single ticketholder until we win. We might have the next member of our rotation for 2012. Who would have predicted Hector Santiago and not Sale? Did anyone even have this guy for AAP? No more Morel or Omar at #2. Dunn and Rios should never again be higher than 6-7-8. Edited July 8, 2011 by caulfield12
