whitesoxbrian
QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 08:10 PM) I concur. If Juan was any good, he'd be 3 for 2. So because he's 2-2 today, that means he's now good at baseball? Please.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 08:10 PM) I concur. If Juan was any good, he'd be 3 for 2. He didn't say anything that was incorrect. Juan has had a nice 10 games. Not surprising. Even bad players will have a nice streak here and there when they play EVERY single day NO MATTER how poorly they're performing. caulfield12
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 08:10 PM) It really makes me wonder if we will even beat them once this season. This could get really interesting how many times they can beat us in a row. At least 8. That's the same number the Tigers got to before we finally beat them this season. greg775
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 02:12 AM) Be very, very afraid of trades, especially with the rumor last night that the Sox have looked into trading Viciedo. Ugh. Awful. I'm just ready for a new chapter. If they would have fired Walker or Oz or have brought somebody up for this series it would at least show we're trying. Trading Dayan will suck. Greg Hibbard
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 08:12 PM) Hibbard, do you and greg have a "secret PM" agreement to defend Juan Pierre? Can I join your cabal, just for fun? I was one of Juan's biggest critics in April. There's really nothing offensively wrong with what he's done since May 1st. Jordan4life_2007
This is Humber's worst start in quit some time. Of course it comes against the Twins.

The Sir
QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 07:09 PM) The Sox have 5 of the 70 worst players in baseball in the lineup today: Teahen, Pierre, Rios, Dunn, and Vizquel. Stay hot, KW. Beckham belongs on that list.

Brian
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 08:09 PM) Twins scouting report on how to pitch to our hitters is just phenomenal. God forbid our hitters make adjustments.

whitesoxbrian
QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 08:14 PM) I was one of Juan's biggest critics in April. There's really nothing offensively wrong with what he's done since May 1st. He's 13-24 on the year for SB's, his OBP his hilariously bad for a lead off hitter, he has no power, and his bunting sucks. Why stop at offense? His defense is horrendous, too.
caulfield12
Cooper's energy getting out to the mound for Humber is about the same energy we've had this entire game. Flat from the get-go, and Humber pitching scared for the first time in ages. Doesn't help not to be able to throw many runners out on the basepaths. Jordan4life_2007
I'm really getting to the point of cheering against this team. I've had it with 82-85 win seasons and no playoffs. I'd rather get it over with now and rebuild this thing from the ground up. If the Braves are really serious about CQ, do it now!
whitesoxbrian
QUOTE (FlySox87 @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 08:16 PM) Beckham belongs on that list. Because he's a favorite for the GG, he doesn't make the top 70 list. Morel is borderline.
