fathom
QUOTE (OilCan @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 01:44 AM) Alex Rios....grinder. Everything he hits is off the end of the bat now.

The Sir
I hate the Twins. I also hate Gordon Beckham. Just another version of Joe Borchard, Brian Anderson, Josh Fields, Jerry Lewis etc etc. And then I hate watching a team where it's 3-0 in the second and it feels like it might as well be 10-0 in the eighth. Why can't we take pitches? What was that, a six pitch inning? Thanks, guys.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 07:44 PM) Wait, WTF...we moved Rios up to 5th in the order? Dunn 4th, Rios 5th. If the Sox score 3 runs or less, is it really Greg Walker's fault?

Fire JR!!! What was the Las Vegas line for stolen bases in this game against us? Thankfully, they don't have Span in the line-up. "Looks like the Twins have their way with the White Sox. They can do whatever they want. Just seems like there's no sense of fire or urgency in the Chicago White Sox. It makes you wonder if they even read a scouting report?" To me, I don't believe Walker comes up with a good strategy for his hitters on a game in, game out basis. But yeah, even with a different hitting coach, it's not going to make Dunn and Rios significantly better. I think Beckham's the only person who needs a different mentor. greg775
I'm not even gonna get mad this series. I expect to lose all four. They have a better team. Period. So surprise me, White Sox.
The Ginger Kid
It's just ridiculous. I really can't believe Jerry Reinsdorf is not going to feel an obligation to fans to press for some changes to this team, even if it's just a call-up from AAA. Poor Viciedo...the expectations on that guy if he does come up...not fair.

Poor Viciedo...the expectations on that guy if he does come up...not fair. We'll probably be 7-8 games back by then and it won't matter as much. Really, getting swept here might be the thing they need to just say "f--k it" and completely played relaxed and winning baseball in the 2nd half. 9/71...closing in on 12.5% Edited July 8, 2011 by caulfield12
