clujer420
Keep your nails trimmed in the first place so they won't get gnarly.

1549
That happened to me two weeks ago. As soon as the dentist was done, the nurse, who by the way was definately doable, handed me a cup of water. When I drank the water it streamed out of the right side of my mouth because I couldn't feel that it was still open. The nurse chuckled, but I am sure she sees that a lot with patients. Very ingenius way of covering up the fact that you were drooling over the "doable" nurse.
Mathew
I ususally bite down and cut it out myself. I've managed to sucessfully grow them out before too, just depends how long you can stand the discomfort. Medicare is free here I don't know your situation but if it costs you money I'd try to let it grow out with the salts and failing that give yourself the axe when you deem needed. Heads22
Fun, isn't it? I love soaking my foot in a bucket of water. It's not that bad....it's pretty soothing. My toe has been feeling better the past couple of days...so we shall see.
BridgeportHeather
Heads, I've never experienced the pain you have been going through...Which is worse: an ingrown toenail or watching a Cubs game?
witesoxfan
Heads, don't try this. It would probably hurt too much. I just thought I'd let everyone know an experience I had a year or so ago. I was walking over to the freezer to get a popsicle, and I stubbed my toe on the freezer(hurt like hell, and it actually bled too). Anyways, a couple weeks later, I look at the toe, and I just lift up the toenail, and it came off. I was just able to pull the whole toenail off by myself, no scissors, exacto knifes, novacaine, nothing. It took quite a while to get it grown back in, but it's back in, and it's like nothing ever happened to it. Was kind of neat

That depends. If Chimp is doing it, I'd probably rather have an ingrown toenail. Anybody other then Chimp's dumbass, and I'll watch the Cubbies. rafacosta
You gotta cut the point of the nail. Next time you will cut the nail, cut it round. Dont cut it pointed because it will hurt in the next time. Sometimes i have one and i cut the nail as i said...take one day and it will be good.
