So is Dayan in Charlotte does anyone know? Do we have a scoop?

Maybe just getting the day off that the rest of the players got since he played in the AAA All-Star game. I don't know, but I don't want to get my hopes up that we will actually be getting his bat to the majors.

Semien is 2/4, 2B.

Trayce Thompson hit is 15th HR.

Ravelo is 2/4, RBI

K. Smith is 3/4, 2B, RBI

Semien seems to have taken to pro ball quickly.

Tyler Kuhn back in B'Ham lineup tonite. They didn't give him much of a look in Charlotte - only 7 games. Kind of a raw deal. Do we really need to see more of Gookie D or Andy Garcia?

He's 2 for 3 tonight after going 3 for 24 at Charlotte. i hope that isn't why he went back down.

I agree. No reason to use Dawkins to clutter the system. He's got zero future.

Almost magic that he went back down and got 2 hits right away. The Barons do have 3 guys on the DL so maybe they just needed another body and the Sox thought this would be a good way for Kuhn to clear his head after the slump.

The Barons needed a boost too, they've been slumping like crazy.

He was in SLC last night, two hour difference from Charlotte. Probably had major jet lag. Plus, he played the entire game.

Yep. They put him immediately in to Kanny, and he has hit very well. He is my new AAP, so naturally, I'm going to watch him closely.

Any word on his defense??

Something that is being discussed a lot is how the wood bat actually has more pop in it than the bats they were using in college this past year. Experts expect much better offensive numbers from ex-college players drafted this year while in the minors.

Walker has recorded an XBH in all 5 games hes played in

And a strikeout as well. At this point it's good to see him hitting well, but rookie ball is meaningless to a guy like him.
