IlliniKrush
QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Jul 16, 2011 -> 05:06 PM) Beckham did NOT leave early. BS CALL! You forgot to use green.
caulfield12
Shouldn't the coach shout "GO!" at the moment of the catch? According to Farmer, Beckham didn't leave early. Wrong call. They watched the replay a bunch of times. Umpire was also out of position, had the wrong angle there. You have to be in line with 3B looking to the OF. You can't look back, can't just guess or speculate. Edited July 16, 2011 by caulfield12
greg775
Ugh, the White Sox of the first half would now lose. Can the second half White Sox hang in there?
Soxbadger
After the replay thats way to close to call, considering its something thats almost never called.

Cerbaho-WG
Yup, bad call. Also, f*** the Tigers color guy (also FOX color guy) for not correcting himself after the replay clearly showed Beckham was fine.

According to Farmer, Beckham didn't leave early. Wrong call. They watched the replay a bunch of times. You usually do that on ones to left/sometimes center. Usually right it's easier for the baserunner to watch. Looks like he was fine. Problem was his motion started early, makes that call really, really tough. You're better off freezing until it's caught to help sell that.

caulfield12
Well, if Jackson wins this game, he's definitely earned it. Hard to pitch under pressure like this the entire game. Should be at least 4-0, maybe 5-0.

caulfield12
Well, Gordon's fought to get his average all the way back to .249. Wish Dunn could just get to .199, wonder what abysmally-low average he'll end up with? Jackson with an amazing (for him) 79 pitches through 7 innings. Does Guillen pull him against V-Mart if Ordonez/Cabrera reach?? Don't like to face him from the left-hand side if you can turn him around.
